License Agreement & Usage Terms
By using WhisperOne, you agree to the following terms. We keep our rules as clean and transparent as our code—focused on fair use and protecting your privacy.
1. License Grant
Upon purchase, WhisperOne grants you a perpetual, non-exclusive license to use the software version acquired. This is a one-time purchase, not a subscription.
A valid license key and a one-time internet connection are required for initial software activation. During activation, the software generates a unique identifier based on your hardware to enforce device limits and prevent unauthorized distribution. This identifier is used solely for license verification.
2. Updates and Maintenance
Your purchase includes 12 months of free software updates and technical improvements from the date of purchase.
After the initial 12-month period, you may continue to use the last stable version you received forever without any recurring fees or "productivity taxes."
3. Nature of the Software
WhisperOne uses high-speed post-processing. Transcription occurs immediately after you release the global hotkey, not in real-time during dictation. This ensures a more reliable and coherent output.
A one-time internet connection is required for the initial AI model download (~2.5GB). After this download, the software functions 100% offline.
4. Compatibility
WhisperOne is provided for macOS (Intel/Apple Silicon) and Windows 10/11. It is the user's responsibility to ensure their hardware meets the minimum requirements (RAM < 300MB, GPU recommended for best performance).
